about

Tom Honey's Good Weather For An Airstrike project began at the beginning of 2009 as a means to relieve the tinnitus issues he was suffering with at the time. His main goal was to create a collection of relaxing sounds that would help induce sleep.

A Winter EP does exactly that beautifully and supplies three tracks of tranquil reverberating electronics which gently unfold allowing you to drift off into semi-consciousness...

Reviews:

Silent Ballet:
"On A Winter his sound takes a turn back towards the drone of his earliest work, but utilizes the same strings and sustained guitar prominent on 2010's Signals. The rippling undulations of "Within a Dream" and seductive fading in/out of "Broken" gently caress the listener into a cool, calm state of mind; listening is like gazing at a rural winter."

The Death of CDs:
"If you close your eyes and listen, you can imagine the sense of cold, the snow-covered trees, frozen rivers and lakes, all the things you’d expect winter to have.
9/10"

To Eleven:
"There is something sublime and transcendent happening on A Winter."
